Roger Lyons
1958-2019
Roger Doyce Lyons, 60, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019 in Snyder.
A memorial service for Mr. Lyons will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tony Wofford officiating.
Mr. Lyons was born on Nov. 8, 1958 in Snyder to Marx Roger and Barbara Ann (Mahannah) Lyons. He was a farmer most of his life and loved his Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marx and Barbara Ann Lyons.
Survivors include two daughters, Nicole Goebel and her husband, Chris, of Snyder and Terra Merritt and her husband, Daniel, of Lubbock; one son, Cory Lyons of Lubbock; and five grandchildren, Jaelin Simonton and Addison Merritt, both of Lubbock, and Landry, Leah and Lily Goebel, all of Snyder.

Bobbie Jean Vaughan, 87, of Snyder, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 in Snyder.
Funeral service for Mrs. Vaughan will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Matt Lowry and Steve Highfield officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
