Two additional incumbents have filed for the May 2 elections.
Snyder City Council members Vernon Clay, District 1, and Steve Highfield, District 3, each filed for re-election late Monday, according to City Secretary Shai Green.
They join Steve Rich in District 2 and Thomas Strayhorn in District 4, who previously filed for re-election to their city council seats. All four districts are up for election this year.
Incumbents Carrie Richardson in District 4 and Doug Neff in District 5 have filed for their seats on the Snyder ISD board of trustees. That leaves one seat that no one has filed for.
Incumbent Benny Marricle was the first candidate to file for the Scurry County Hospital District board of directors. There are three seats up for election this year on the board that runs Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
Incumbents Drew Bullard and Mike McWilliams also filed for re-election to the Scurry County College District board of directors — the board that governs Western Texas College. Each man represents one of the two seats up for election.  Those interested in running in any of the four May elections may file weekdays through Feb. 14 at the administrative offices of the entity in question.
