September rains and cooler weather

Finally.  The dry summer of 2020 was quenched last month . . . at least for much of the Rolling Plains and points east and south.  But once you go west of a line from roughly Canadian to Crane, it’s still looking rough.   I just returned from a trip to the sandhills of Nebraska and it was dry (and overgrazed; the two often go together) most of the way.
