Fuel from a pickup truck flares as Snyder firefighters work to extinguish small fires following a wreck Tuesday afternoon. The white pickup truck (left) struck a nearby telephone pole in the 300 block of 37th Street around 3:08 p.m. Tuesday. Personnel from Snyder Fire and Police departments and Scurry County EMS responded to the wreck. No one was transported to the hospital from the scene.
