• Arrests

A 29-year-old male was arrested at 6:47 p.m. Tuesday in the 200 block of 33rd Street on a warrant for failure to pay court costs for child support.

A 27-year-old female was arrested at 9:39 a.m. Tuesday in the 1700 block of 25th Street for possession of marijuana, less than two ounces, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A 30-year-old female was arrested at 8:06 a.m. Tuesday in the 3300 block of Houston Ave. for driving while license invalid.

• Fight

A caller reported at 12:26 a.m. today that six or seven people were fighting in the 2500 block of Ave. E. One person was transported to Cogdell Memorial Hospital.

• Prowler

A caller reported at 5:36 a.m. today that a man was looking at her from outside her kitchen window.

• Criminal mischief

A caller reported at 3:16 p.m. Tuesday that his pickup had been damaged in the 60 block of CR 1101

• Accidents

A caller reported at 5:33 p.m. Tuesday that a pickup damaged two vehicles and left the scene. The driver of the pickup was subsequently located and transported to Cogdell Memorial Hospital.

A two-vehicle accident was reported at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday at Hermleigh School.

A hit-and-run accident was reported at 2:37 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Ave. E and 25th Street.

• Gas leak

A gas leak was reported at 3:02 p.m. Tuesday in the 3000 block of 40th Street.

• Fires

A yard fire was reported at 10:51 p.m. Tuesday in the 3500 block of Coliseum Drive. The fire was extinguished by the time firefighters arrived.

Controlled burns were reported at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 6100 block of Ira Pump Road and at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday along CR 4111 in Hermleigh.

• Animal concerns

Loose cattle were reported at 3:53 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of CR 253 and U.S. Hwy. 180.

A dog at-large was reported at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday in the 3500 block of Kerrville Ave.

Scurry County EMS responded to one medical call.

Six non-accident, traffic-related calls were reported.

Six civil calls were received.

Six alarms were reported.

Five close patrols were requested.
