• Arrests
Rudy Duckworth, 38, was arrested at 9:47 a.m. Friday in the 900 block of North Ave. Q on a parole violation warrant for assault, family violence.
Leia Chester, 23, was arrested at 11:06 a.m. Friday in the Scurry County jail on a 132nd District Court motion to revoke probation warrant for possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram.
Jimmy Austin, 58, was arrested at 4:47 p.m. Friday in the Scurry County jail on a 132nd District Court motion to revoke probation warrant for driving while intoxicated, third or more offense.
Carroll Lee McNiel, 45, was arrested at 4:47 p.m. Friday in the Scurry County jail on a 132nd District Court motion to revoke probation warrant for driving while intoxicated, third or more offense.
Ruben DeLoera, 33, was arrested at 5:15 p.m. Friday in 3300 block of Ave. U on a 132nd District Court motion to revoke probation warrant for evading arrest with a vehicle and bail jumping and failure to appear.
A 49-year-old female was arrested at 7:27 p.m. Friday in the 5100 block of College Ave. for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 34-year-old male was arrested at 8:12 p.m. Friday in the 2800 block of 25th Street on Scurry County court warrants for driving while license invalid with previous convictions and assault causing bodily injury.
A 28-year-old female was arrested at 12:46 a.m. today in the 700 block of 23rd Street for public intoxication.
• Thefts
A theft was reported at 2:49 p.m. Friday by a person who went to the law enforcement center.
Theft of medication was reported at 5:58 p.m. Friday at Walmart Supercenter.
• Prowler
A prowler was reported at 11:38 p.m. Friday in the 400 block of 35th Street.
• Scam
A scam telephone call was reported at 8:49 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of 36th Place.
• Accidents
A two-vehicle accident was reported at 2:45 p.m. Friday at Snyder Primary School.
A two-vehicle accident was reported at 4:07 p.m. Friday at the intersection of College Ave. and 27th Street.
A hit-and-run accident was reported at 4:18 p.m. Friday on the Walmart Supercenter parking lot.
A vehicle-bicycle accident was reported at 8:39 p.m. Friday at the intersection of 37th Street and Ave. M.
• Fires
Controlled burns were reported at 6:06 a.m. Friday near the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 180 and CR 253 and at 6:08 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Randals Corner and CR 264.
• Noise complaint
Loud music was reported at 11:55 p.m. Friday in the 1100 block of 28th Street.
• Animal concerns
Dogs at-large were reported at 7:21 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Coliseum Drive, at 7:41 a.m. Friday near the intersection of 38th Street and Denison Ave. and at 10:22 a.m. Friday in the 2800 block of Ave. Y.
Loose horses were reported at 10:46 a.m. Friday near the intersection of FM 1607 and CR 3102.
Loose cattle were reported at 6:41 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Brick Plant Road and 37th Street.
