A blood drive will be held on the United Supermarkets parking lot June 30.
The United Blood Service’s bloodmobile will be on the parking lot from 2:45-5 p.m. to accept donations.
Stephanie Pointer, a spokesperson for United Blood Services, said blood donations decrease in the summer and the mobile unit is deployed to help hospitals meet the needs for blood.
Everyone who donates blood will receive a T-shirt, squeeze cow and cookbook.
Appointments are necessary when donating blood at the mobile unit.
The next scheduled blood drive will be from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the ATV room at Western Texas College.
