Governor Greg Abbott’s most recent declaration allows some businesses to reopen, and many intend on doing so.
Several Snyder restaurants will open to 25 percent of their full capacity on Friday, including Joni’s Cafe, Cardinal Cafe, and Ponderosa Restaurant. Gran & Pop’s BBQ and Burgers will open as well, only seating one table at a time.Some restaurants have decided to continue as they have been for the time being, including Mrs. Kathy’s Southern Comfort, Mrs. Kathy’s Apple of My Pie, and Polynesian Gardens.
Cinema Snyder will remain closed as well, using this time to decide new titles to show when they do re-open, and the Ritz Community Theatre will also remain closed to protect actors and patrons. New show dates will be announced after it is determined that rehearsals are safe to resume.
