Carlsbad woman charged for escape attempt

The 132nd District Grand Jury recently issued an indictment on a Carlsbad woman for allegedly leaving a corrections facility without permission. Misty Dawn Doty, 36, of Carlsbad was indicted on a charge of unauthorized absence from a community corrections facility, a state jail felony.
