Centennial star returns

  • Scurry County Historical Commission member Lynn Fuller put the Texas centennial star on its base at the Scurry County Courthouse Tuesday afternoon. The original marker was stolen and the county received a new marker several years ago. The new marker had been stored in a crate at former County Judge Preston Wilson’s house. The commission will hold a public unveiling at 11:30 a.m. March 2.
