Kevin Chaffin, of Snyder, won last week’s Snyder Daily News football contest.
Chaffin picked 15 of the 20 games correctly to claim the $50 first-place prize. Jimmy McClain, of Snyder, picked 14 games correctly to finish second, claiming $25.
The tiebreaker was used to determine third place after four people picked 13 games correctly. Beth Evans, of Snyder, won the tiebreaker by predicting 50 total points in the Brownwood-Snyder game. The two teams combined for 52 points.
Honorable mention goes to Larry Beard and Freddie Rocha, both of Snyder, and Macy Juarez of Ira.
The winners will be mailed their checks. This week’s contest is on Page 10 in today’s edition.
