Chamber board to hear recap of western swing festival

The Snyder Chamber of Commerce board of directors, on Monday, will receive an update on the West Texas Western Swing Festival.

President/Chief Executive Officer Linda Molina and Events Coordinator Josh Ortegon said this year’s event drew one of the largest crowds in its 21-year history. 

Ortegon said he hopes to have the final numbers ready for the board meeting.

The festival’s committee is scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. June 29 to discuss the event.

Board members will hear updates from Molina and the Gold Coats during the meeting, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the chamber office boardroom.
