The Snyder Chamber of Commerce has sent out vendor packets this week for White Boo-ffalo Halloween in the Park.
Events Coordinator Josh Ortegon said the event will be held in front of the Towle Park barn from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 29. It is designed to provide Snyder with a safe and fun Halloween celebration after Trick-or-Treat on the Square had become too congested and dangerous.
Ortegon said vendor booths will be free and the chamber encourages any business, church or other organization in the area to get involved.
“Any group who wants to do a game booth, a cake walk or trunk-or-treat, we welcome that,” Ortegon said. “Anything for the kids, we’re all for. This is about the kids.”
Ortegon said he hopes for a big turnout in the event’s first year.
“I’m hoping we have a lot of vendors,” Ortegon said. “I just want the kids to come out and have a great Halloween and a safe Halloween.”
