Cinema Snyder reopened its doors to the public on Saturday night.

Seating is limited to only 25 percent capacity and guests are asked to follow social distancing guidelines.

Manager Matt Hester said that online ticket purchases are encouraged in order to limit interpersonal contact. All tickets will be $5. While not mandatory for patrons, employees will wear masks and gloves.

The cinema opened at with showings of The Invisible Man at 7 p.m. and Trolls World Tour at 7:15 p.m., which will be shown on Thursday as well.

Hester said that they would only be doing one showing this week in order to thoroughly clean theaters between shows.

Although Hester said that they didn’t see as many patrons as they had hoped for their opening night due to a combination of graduations and Memorial Day weekend, he is hopeful that this weekend will bring more moviegoers.
