Clothing being accepted through Aug. 1

Aug. 1 is the final day the public may donate clothing for Snyder First Assembly of God’s back-to-school clothes drive.
Gently-used clothing of all sizes, new undergarments, shoes, socks and school supplies may be dropped off at the church, the Snyder Chamber of Commerce office or the Snyder Daily News office.
All donations will be sorted and distributed from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 6 in the church’s fellowship hall.
Organizer Melissa Courtney said free haircuts for school-age children will be available during the distribution. Representatives from Snyder Smiles will have a booth to provide dental information for parents.
