District clerk releases 10 indictments

The District Clerk’s office released information Friday on 10 people indicted by a Scurry County grand jury.
Marna Rene Hegedus, 56, of Snyder, was indicted for burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony. Hegedus was arrested on May 5 for breaking into a residence in Snyder. Bond was set at $10,000.
Michael Floyd Thurman, 27, of Snyder, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, a third-degree felony. On April 29, Thurman was arrested for knowingly possessing methamphetamine in the amount of at least one gram, but less than four grams. Bond was set at $5,000.
Christopher Lynn Welsh, 44, of Snyder, was indicted for endangering a child, a state-jail felony. Welsh was arrested on Feb. 20 for intentionally engaging in conduct that endangered the welfare of a child younger than 15 years of age by discharging a firearm in the general direction of the child. Bond was set at $5,000.
Andrew Bryant Moncevais, 21, of Snyder, was indicted for assault, family violence, a third-degree felony. Moncevais was arrested on Aug. 5 for intentionally causing bodily injury to a family member by choking the victim. Bond was set at $5,000.
Matthew Clarence Lyle, 60, of Snyder, was indicted for driving while intoxicated, a third-degree felony. Lyle was arrested on Feb. 8. The grand jury learned that Lyle was convicted of driving while intoxicated in Scurry County in 1993 and 2014. Bond has been set at $5,000.
Robert Everett Jones Jr., 54, of Snyder, was indicted for driving while intoxicated, a third-degree felony. He was arrested on Sept. 6, 2014. He was previously convicted of driving while intoxicated in 1987 and 2010 in Scurry County. Bond was set at $5,000.
Timothy Jacob Arellano, 24, of Hermleigh, was indicted for burglary of a building, a state-jail felony. Arellano was arrested on June 30 for attempting to break into a building without permission. Bond was set at $5,000.
Veronica Morin Jaramillo, 21, of Snyder, was indicted for burglary of a building, a state-jail felony. On June 23, Jaramillo was arrested for attempting to break into a building. Bond was set at $5,000.
Matthew Christopher Marquez, 32, of Snyder, was indicted for theft, a state-jail felony. On May 17, Marquez was arrested for taking a lawn mower from his victim. The grand jury learned that Marquez was convicted for theft in 2004 in Scurry County and in 2012 in Taylor County. Bond was set at $5,000.
Stephany Arizmendi, 24, of Snyder, was indicted for debit card abuse, a state-jail felony. Arizmendi was arrested on May 24 for using a debit card without the consent of the cardholder. Bond was set at $5,000.
