Two men are headed to prison after their probations were revoked in District Judge Ernie B. Armstrong's courtroom recently.
Rodrick Ceasar, 28, of Snyder, will serve his original eight-year sentence for burglary of a habitation, a second-degree felony. The sentence had been probated eight years.
His probation was revoked after he acknowledged consuming alcohol in October. He also failed to make his monthly probation, fine, court and attorney fee payments in July, October, November and December; failed to report to his probation officer in November and December and did not complete community service in July, August, October, November and December.
In March 2018, Ceasar entered the habitation of his victim and attempted to steal his victim's property.
Benjamin John Dominguez, 35, of Arlington, will serve his original 10-year sentence on a 2010 charge of aggravated assault against a public servant.
The offense was a first-degree felony.
Dominguez's probation was revoked after he failed to report to his probation officer between November 2018 and May 2019.
He also failed to make his monthly probation, fine, court and attorney’s fee payments between January and May 2019.
The original charge stemmed from a June 25, 2010, incident during which he attempted to strike his victim, Snyder Police Officer Sean Dixon, with a vehicle. Dixon and other officers were pursuing Dominguez at the time of the incident.
