Due to STAAR testing, Snyder ISD moves bad weather day to May 20

The Snyder ISD board of trustees voted on Thursday to move a bad weather day from May 6 to May 20.
Superintendent Jim Kirkland said State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness tests will begin May 9 and teachers and administrators felt it would not be in the best interest of the students to have three days off before state testing begins.
