Angelo State University

Angelo State University recently conferred 571 undergraduate degrees and 298 graduate degrees to its spring 2020 graduates.

Graduates from Scurry County and the surrounding counties included Caitlyn Velasquez of Snyder with a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies. 

Graduates from Ira included Alyssa Chavez with a bachelor of social work in social work and Hannah Welch with a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies. 

Charlsea Jones of Hermleigh graduated with a bachelor of social work in social work. 

Graduates from Colorado City included Raegan Costabile with a master of education in educational administration, Diana De Santiago with a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies, Hazel Gonzales with a bachelor of science in interdisciplinary studies, Marissa Parras with a bachelor of business administration in integrated prof accountancy and Tara Pinkard with a bachelor of science in animal science. 

Ryan Reid of Rotan graduated with a doctor of physical therapy in physical therapy.

South Plains College

Two students from Snyder were named to the South Plains College Spring 2020 President’s list.

Isaac Cabrera and Macie Hanshew, both of Snyder, were among more than 300 students named to the spring list.

Several area students were named to South Plains College’s Spring 2020 Deans’ List. They are Reed Owens and Abby Manning of Snyder,  Tucker Barton of Hermleigh and Heaven Nelson of Roscoe.
