Entertainment, activities set for White Buffalo Days

White Buffalo Days will bring entertainment and activities to downtown Snyder Friday and Saturday.
Vendor booths will open at 5 p.m. Friday. The Tumbleweed Crossing comedy gunfight show will have performances at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the intersection of 26th Street and Ave. R on the southeast side of the square.
Oktoberfest beer tasting at the 1818 Arthouse will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets will be required Friday and Saturday.
Live music by Apparition Tradition will begin at 7 p.m. at the Scurry County Courthouse gazebo.
Vendors will close at 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Saturday will get started with the White Buffalo Stampede 5K at 8 a.m. The race will begin at College on the Square.
Vendors will open at 9 a.m. A demonstration from Crossfit Snyder will begin at 10 a.m. at the gazebo. Art activities for children will be held at College on the Square at 10 a.m.
Tumbleweed Crossing will perform at 11 a.m., 2 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
At the gazebo, a performance by Stars-R-Us Gymnastics will be held at 11:30 a.m. and will be followed by performances by the Deep Creek Cloggers at noon and Baile De Folklorico at 12:30 p.m.
Oktoberfest at the 1818 Arthouse will begin at noon and continue throughout the day.
Science Spectrum of Lubbock will have presentations on the west parking lot of the courthouse at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
From 1-3 p.m., guests may visit the Historic Scurry County Jail on College Ave., where there will be food, games and activities.
The Sahawe Dancers of Uvalde will perform Native American dances on the north courthouse lawn at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Saturday’s musical performances at the gazebo begin at 2:30 p.m. with Cindy Wright. Apparition Tradition will perform at 5 p.m. and Justice will perform at 8 p.m.
Vendor booths will close at 9 p.m.
