Warmer weather and growing gardens have arrived, which means the Snyder Farmers Market will soon open for the summer season.
The local farmer’s market offers local produce, live music, baked goods, craft items, re-sale items and more.
“We enjoy bringing the market to the community,” Coliseum Manager Darla Wiggins said. “It’s something that people can benefit from with the fresh produce and craft vendors. We can offer something to our community that other communities in the area don’t offer.”
Wiggins said the entertainment schedule is not set, but The Coliseum is seeking vendors, who should call 574-6571 about booth space.
Along with the usual market items, Wiggins said that there will also be a T-shirt giveaway every Saturday.
The market will begin its three-month run under The Coliseum’s pavilion Saturday and will be open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon through Aug. 25.
