Fatal wreck in Borden County

  • One person died in a one-vehicle accident on U.S. Hwy. 180 in Borden County this morning. First responders from Scurry and Borden counties responded to the scene and two Native Air helicopters airlifted victims. Snyder Fire Department firefighters had to use an extrication equipment to free one of the people trapped inside the vehicle. The scene was cleared at 12:35 p.m. At presstime, the cause of the accident was still being investigated by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
