Snyder Mayor Tony Wofford has filed for re-election.
Wofford filed his paperwork at Snyder City Hall on Wednesday and will be challenged by George Jamison during the May 6 election.
Former Snyder City Council member Frank Toland filed to run for the at-large position on the council. Both terms of the at-large council members expire this year.
Filing for the city election is being held at Snyder City Hall.
Three current members of the Snyder ISD board of trustees have also filed to run. They are Ronnie Anderson (Place 1), Carrie Richardson (Place 4) and Doug Neff (Place 5). Filing is being held at the administration office.
The filing period will continue through Feb. 17.
