The 132nd District Court Grand Jury recently issued seven felony indictments on five individuals.
Kelly Ransom, 65, of Snyder was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a first-degree felony. According to the indictment, on Dec. 10, 2019, Ransom knowingly possessed, with intent to deliver, between four and 200 grams of methamphetamine.
Bond was set at $20,000.
Richard Eugene Breiten, 60, of Snyder was indicted on two charges of debit card abuse, each a third-degree felony. According to each of the two indictments, on Feb. 17, Breiten presented a debit card at a store for payment, knowing that the card had not been issued to him and that the cardholder did not consent to his use of it.
Breiten has a 1993 conviction in Fisher County for aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.
Bond for each indictment was set at $5,000.
Angela Shea Hester, 44, of Snyder was indicted on two charges of assault, each a third-degree felony. According to the two indictments, on April 7, Hester intentionally caused bodily injury to two different members of her household by striking them with her hands. Hester has a 2009 family assault conviction in Scurry County.
Bond for each indictment was set at $5,000.
Veronica Morin Jaramillo, 29, of Snyder was indicted on a charge of bail jumping and failure to appear, a third-degree felony. According to the indictment, on June 17, after being released from custody on a pending felony charge of burglary of a habitation on the condition that she subsequently appear in court, Jaramillo failed to appear in accordance with the terms of her release.
Bond was set at $20,000.
Jessie Nicholas Ramos, 45, of Lubbock was indicted on a charge of driving while intoxicated, a state-jail felony. According to the indictment, on May 10, Ramos operated a motor vehicle in public while intoxicated, and while accompanied by a minor younger than 15 years of age.
Bond was set at $5,000.
