Four new local COVID cases Friday for a total of nine this week

The Scurry County Health Department reported four new positive cases of COVID-19 today, adding to the three new cases announced Thursday and two new cases announced Wednesday, for a total of nine new cases this week. The new cases bring Scurry County's total since the pandemic began to 11 — two of which are no longer testing as positive.

County Judge Dan Hicks reported during his afternoon Facebook briefing Friday that the new cases include three females, whose ages fall into the ranges 35-45, 15-25 and 10-20; and one man aged 35-45 years old. No other information about the four newest cases was released.
