Grand jury indicts 7 on felonies

The 132nd District Court recently released information about seven felony indictments.
Joe Anthony Gallegos, 19, of Snyder was indicted on a second-degree felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. According to the indictment, on or about May 22, 2019, Gallegos was found in possession of four to 200 grams of cocaine. Bond was set at $15,000.
Joseph Glen Roe, 41, of Robert Lee was indicted on a third-degree felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. According to the indictment, on or about June 8, 2019, Roe was found in possession of one to four grams of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $5,000.
David Ramirez Hinojos, 45, of Snyder was indicted on a state-jail felony charge of burglary of a building. According to the indictment, on or about March 16, 2019, Hinojos entered a building without the consent of the owner and either attempted or committed theft of property. Bond was set at $5,000.
Joe Lewis Alvarado, 33, of Snyder was indicted on a state-jail felony charge of criminal mischief. According to the indictment, on or about Sept. 15, 2019, Alvarado knowingly damaged or destroyed carpets and walls of an apartment by breaking a toilet tank, allowing the water to flood the residence, causing between $2,500 and $30,000 damage. Alvarado has been convicted of two previous felonies. Bond was set at $5,000.
Andres Gutierrez III, 34, of Snyder was indicted on a state-jail felony charge of burglary of a building. According to the indictment, on or about Sept. 15, 2019, Gutierrez entered a building without the consent of the owner and attempted to commit theft of property. Gutierrez has been convicted of two previous felonies. Bond was set at $5,000.
Cheryl Denise Carr, 38, of Snyder was indicted on a state-jail felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. According to the indictment, on or about June 10, 2019, Carr was found in possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $5,000.
Jeffrey Lynn Hale, 62, of Wingate was indicted on a state-jail felony charge of theft. According to the indictment, on or about Sept. 28, 2019, Hale stole safety equipment valued between $2,500 and $30,000. Bond was set at $5,000.
