Snyder, Ira set bi-district match-ups

The Snyder and Ira high school football teams are heading to the playoffs.
Snyder (8-2, 5-1 District 1-4A Division II) finished second and will face Dalhart in a Class 4A Division II bi-district playoff game at 7 p.m. Friday at Plainview High School. This will be the fifth straight playoff appearance for the Tigers.
No advance tickets will be sold, but will be $5 at the gate.
Ira (9-0, 4-0 District 4-1A Division I) won its first district title since 2014 and will meet Crowell in a bi-district playoff game. Head coach Toby Goodwin will announce the game site and time once plans are finalized this weekend. That information will be posted on Snyder Daily News social media pages.
