Hermleigh board to name lone superintendent finalist March 21

The Hermleigh ISD board of trustees is ready to name a lone finalist for the superintendent’s position.
After three days of interviews in closed session earlier this week, the board will meet at 7 p.m. March 21 to name the lone finalist. A second meeting, at 7 p.m. March 22, will be held to review the superintendent’s contract.
Once the lone finalist is named, the board must wait 21 days before finalizing the contract.
The board is replacing Ronnie Roemisch, who is retiring at the end of his contract on June 30.
Both meetings will be held in the school district boardroom and are open to the public.
