Hermleigh ISD’s school board added an additional year to Superintendent Cassie Petty’s contract during its meeting Monday night.
Following a 90-minute closed session, the board voted unanimously to extend Petty’s contract, which had been set to expire in January 2022, to January 11, 2023.
