The Scurry County Hospital District board of directors will conduct its annual evaluation of Chief Executive Officer Ella Helms during Wednesday’s meeting.
The evaluation will be held during closed session. Following the closed session, the board will reconvene in open session and take any action resulting from the evaluation.
Helms was named Cogdell Memorial Hospital’s CEO in May 2014, replacing Dr. Bill Weldon.
Also during Wednesday’s meeting, the board will review and consider for approval several policies and procedures and medical privileges for Dr. Orson Anderson for the walk-in clinic.
Temporary privileges for CRNAs Caleigh Sterling and Pete Hext will also be presented for board approval.
Reports scheduled to be presented will be from the medical staff, planning committee, finance committee and nursing.
Helms is also scheduled to present her administrative report.
The meeting will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the administration wing boardroom and is open to the public. A time is set aside for the public to comment on non-agenda items.
The finance committee will meet at 7:30 a.m. in the administration wing boardroom. The only agenda item for the committee is the approval of the October committee meeting minutes.
Chief Financial Officer John Everett will review financial information during the meeting.
