Ira to celebrate homecoming Friday

Ira ISD is celebrating homecoming this week and it will include the crowning of the queen and king during a halftime ceremony on Friday.
Each day this week, students are dressing up during spirit week. Wednesday has been declared 1980s day while Thursday is nerd day. Friday is spirit day when everyone will dress in black and orange.
The homecoming pep rally will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Bulldog Country, the school gymnasium.
The Bulldogs will face  Paducah  at 7:30 p.m. at Bulldog Stadium. The queen and king will be announced during halftime. Queen candidates are Lauren Dennis, Lexie Hanshew and Jordan Ruiz. The king candidates are Kaven Dillard, Austen Rollins and Anthony Sosa.
The cheerleading camp participants will perform at the pep rally and at halftime of the football game.
