• Arrests

Rudolf Martinez, 50, was arrested at 11:14 a.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Ave. H for possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams.

Caliber Faye Vigneau, 29, was arrested at 1:26 p.m. Saturday on Lindsey Road in Ira for possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams.

Zerick Joseph Gutierrez, 28, was arrested at 1:26 p.m. Saturday on Lindsey Road in Ira for possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams.

Anthony Martinez, 22, was arrested at 4 a.m. Sunday in the 2500 block of Ave. F for possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams.

Chad Stewart, 38, was arrested at 1:43 a.m. today for unlawfully carrying of a weapon and failure to identify by using false or fictitious information.

A 35-year-old female was arrested at 4:05 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 84 and Ennis Creek Road for driving while license invalid with previous convictions and on a Mitchell County warrant for driving while license invalid with previous convictions.

A 25-year-old female was arrested at 5:26 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 180 and FM 644 for theft.

A 47-year-old male was arrested at 11 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of 25th Street for driving while intoxicated, second offense.

A 24-year-old male was arrested at 2:58 p.m. Sunday in the 3000 block of 45th Street for no driver’s license.

• Burglaries

A caller reported at 11:27 p.m. Saturday that someone attempted to break into a residence in the 100 block of Browning Ave.

A caller reported at 11:51 p.m. Saturday that someone attempted to break into a vehicle in the 2600 block of El Paso Ave.

• Thefts

Shoplifting was reported at 4:35 p.m. Saturday in the 1900 block of McCowen Ave.

A caller reported at 5:19 p.m. Saturday that an air conditioner was stolen from the 200 block of 24th Street.

A caller reported a theft at 6:58 p.m. Sunday in the 9500 block of CR 2173.

• Threats

A caller reported at 5:52 p.m. Sunday that his uncle had received threats over the telephone. No address was given.

• Harassment

Two reports of harassment were received between midnight and 1 a.m. today in the 1200 block of 21st Street.

• Criminal mischief

A caller reported at 10:59 a.m. Saturday that an air conditioner had been damaged in the 200 block of 24th Street.

A caller reported at 2:53 p.m. Saturday that a pickup window had been damaged in the 500 block of Dunn Ave.

A caller reported at 7:12 p.m. Sunday that a door and window of a vacant house in the 2200 block of 41st Street had been damaged.

• Scam

A resident went to the Snyder Police Department at 11:25 a.m. Saturday to report a computer scam.

• Accidents

A hit-and-run was reported at 8:26 a.m. Saturday in the 4100 block of Avondale Ave.

A two-vehicle accident was reported at 3:52 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Ave. E and U.S. Hwy. 84.

• Fires

A grass fire was reported at 3:07 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of CR 253 and CR 254.

Controlled burns were reported at 8:07 a.m. Saturday in the 10000 block of Hwy. 208, at 11:54 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of School Ave. in Hermleigh and at 8:39 a.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of 21st Street.

• Noise complaint

Loud music was reported at 10:02 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of Augusta Drive.

• Animal concerns

Dogs at-large were reported at 7:29 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Ave. L, at 12:24 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Hwy. 350 and FM 1606 and at 6 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of 13th Street and Ave. I.

An injured puppy was reported at 9:43 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of First Street.

An animal carcass was reported at 3:24 p.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of El Paso Ave.

Loose cattle were reported at 6:55 p.m. Sunday along U.S. Hwy. 180 west of Snyder, at 7:18 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of CR 452 and Pleasant Hill Road and at 6:50 p.m. Saturday along FM 1606.
