• Arrests
Roland Jacob Robledo, 26, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 84 and U.S. Hwy. 180 on an Austin municipal parole violation warrant.
Jeremy Christopher Lee Smith, 26, was arrested at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of U.S. Hwy. 180 for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
Victor Allen Isham, 34, was arrested at 1:32 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of 35th Street for felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and on a warrant for failure to appear at a show cause hearing for failure to pay court costs.
At 8:15 p.m. Saturday, a 54-year-old male was arrested in the 800 block of Coliseum Drive for possession of drug paraphernalia.
At 10:30 a.m. Sunday, a 45-year-old male was arrested on U.S. Hwy. 84, at mile marker 422, on a Bexar County warrant for assault causing bodily injury.
At 11:30 a.m. Monday, a 27-year-old male was arrested on U.S. Hwy. 84, one mile west of Inadale, on a Gaines County warrant for failure to appear, motion for enforcement.
A 22-year-old male was arrested at 12:42 p.m. Monday at Towle Park on Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace warrants for possession and delivery of drug paraphernalia, no driver’s license and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
A 21-year-old female was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Monday on U.S. Hwy. 84, two miles west of Hermleigh, for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.
At 1:35 a.m. today, a 34-year-old male was arrested in the 1300 block of Coliseum Drive for public intoxication and resisting arrest, search or transport.
• Assaults
At 10:23 a.m. Monday, a person went to the law enforcement center to report an assault that occurred on Sunday.
A person went to the law enforcement center at 9:49 p.m. Monday to report an assault.
At 9:50 p.m. Monday, an assault was reported at the Towle Park pavilion.
• Thefts
A lawn mower was reported stolen from the 800 block of 25th Street at 3:46 p.m. Saturday.
Money was reported stolen from Pancho’s Game Room in the 800 block of 25th Street at 5:14 p.m. Sunday.
• Burglary
A vehicle was broken into in the 100 block of 20th Place at 2:53 p.m. Sunday.
• Criminal mischief
At 10:36 a.m. Sunday, a window was broken and a window screen was damaged at Jesus Rules Ministries at the intersection of Ave. H and 35th Street.
• Accidents
A hit-and-run was reported on the Whataburger parking lot at 9:40 a.m. Saturday.
A semi-truck was reported to be jackknifed on U.S. Hwy. 180 in front of Rip Griffin Travel Center at 12:04 p.m. Monday. The Snyder Police Department responded and could not locate any accident.
An accident was reported at 11:26 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of CR 126.
• Fires
Controlled burns were called in at 5:43 p.m. Saturday from the 9900 block of Roadrunner Path, at 9:10 p.m. Sunday from the 10000 block of CR 3186 and at 5:08 p.m. Monday from the 4800 block of CR 472.
A possible grass fire was reported at 11:04 p.m. Saturday in the 4400 block of FM 1607. The Snyder Fire Department responded and advised it was a recreational bonfire.
At 2:36 p.m. Sunday, a fire caused by a downed power line was reported at the Shannon Ranch. Before the Snyder Fire Department could get to the scene, they were advised the fire had been put out.
A grass fire was reported on U.S. Hwy. 84, south of the Covered S Ranch, at 4:12 p.m. Monday. The Snyder Fire Department was unable to locate the fire, and was later advised that there had been a small grass fire, but it had already been put out.
• Water leak
A water leak was reported in the 1000 block of 37th Street at 4:52 p.m. Saturday.
• Animal concerns
More than 15 goats were loose at the intersection of 23rd Street and Ennis Creek Road at 9:21 a.m. Saturday.
A dog was at-large in the 4000 block of Austin Ave. at 11:31 p.m. Saturday.
A bulldog was trying to get into the Hampton Inn at 7:09 a.m. Sunday.
A bull was loose in the 11000 block of CR 397 at 7:19 a.m. Monday.
At 7:37 a.m. Monday, three dogs attacked a woman and her dog in the 2700 block of Ave. F.
A dog was at-large at the intersection of Ave. Z and 28th Street at 8:12 a.m. Monday.
Three dogs were at-large in the 500 block of 27th Street at 2:08 p.m. Monday.
At 8:05 p.m. Monday, five black calves were loose at Randalls’ Corner.
A cow was loose on Block Line Road at 8:51 p.m. Monday.
A dog was at-large at 10:18 p.m. Monday in the 2900 block of 42nd Street.
• Loud music
Loud music was reported at 10:12 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of 28th Street, at 1:24 a.m. Monday from the 3700 block of Ave. V and at 3:23 a.m. Monday from the 3000 block of Ave. E.
• Weekend blotter notes
Scurry County EMS responded to 16 medical calls.
Seven non-accident, traffic-related calls were received.
Ten alarms were reported.
Three close patrols were requested.
Five welfare checks were requested.
Eighteen 911 hang-up calls were received.
Twenty-six reports of fireworks being discharged were received.
Law enforcement responded to four civil issues.
