• Arrests
A 22-year-old male was arrested at 1:42 a.m. Sunday in the 3200 block of Ave. E for driving while intoxicated.
A 28-year-old male was arrested at 2:46 p.m. Sunday along FM 1269 for possession of marijuana, less than two ounces.
A 52-year-old male was arrested at 6:44 p.m. Sunday at McD’s for public intoxication.
• Assaults
Family violence was reported at 4:51 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of 25th Street.
Family violence was reported at 2:10 p.m. Sunday in Fluvanna.
• Burglary
Burglary of a habitation was reported at 10:58 p.m. Sunday in the 4100 block of Ave. R.
• Thefts
A caller at Walmart Supercenter reported at 3:58 a.m. Sunday that a customer left without paying.
A resident went to the law enforcement center at 5:42 p.m. Sunday and reported a theft had occurred.
A resident went to the police department at 6:26 p.m. Sunday and reported that a theft had occurred.
• Criminal trespass
Criminal trespass warnings were issued to two people at 5:32 p.m. Sunday at Comfort Inn and Suites.
• Criminal mischief
Criminal mischief was reported at 10:15 a.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Ave. Y.
• Threats
A caller in the 2300 block of 40th Street reported at 12:33 p.m. Saturday that her husband was threatened.
A caller in the 2100 block of 26th Street reported at 1:42 a.m. Sunday that her husband was making threats.
• Harassment
Cogdell Memorial Hospital staff reported at 7:45 p.m. Sunday that they had received repeated harassing telephone calls from a subject.
• Scam
A caller in the 4100 block of Jacksboro Ave. reported at 10:58 a.m. Sunday that she had received a scam telephone call.
• Accidents
A two-vehicle accident was reported at 10:10 a.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of College Ave.
A vehicle struck a deer at 11:22 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of 37th Street.
A two-vehicle accident was reported at 1:10 p.m. Sunday on the AutoZone parking lot.
A three-vehicle accident was reported at 5:52 p.m. Sunday in the 100 block of 37th Street.
A one-vehicle accident was reported at 3:20 a.m. today at the intersection of FM 1611 and U.S. Hwy. 84.
• Fires
A small grass fire was reported at 8:17 p.m. Saturday at Extended Stay.
Controlled burns were reported at 9:23 a.m. Saturday on Appleton Lane, at 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the 9500 block of CR 242, at 9:04 a.m. Saturday in the 6000 block of FM 1606, at 10:24 a.m. Saturday in the 6200 block of Pleasant Hill Road, at 8:09 p.m. Saturday in the 6700 block of Camp Springs Road, at 7:47 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of North Ave. O and at 2:57 p.m. Sunday in the 8000 block of West U.S. Hwy. 180.
• Noise complaints
Loud music was reported at 3 a.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of 26th Street.
Possible gunshots were reported at 9:52 p.m. Saturday at The Tavern.
• Animal concerns
A dog at-large was reported at 12:41 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Ave. H.
Loose cattle were reported at 8:58 a.m. Sunday along CR 4116 and at 6:42 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of Pleasant Hill Road and CR 452.
