Local banks and offices to close for Memorial Day

Monday is Memorial Day, and local banks and government offices, many just re-opened from the COVID-19 quarantine, will have another day off.
Scurry County offices will be closed for the holiday.
Snyder City Hall and Development Corporation of Snyder offices have re-closed their offices for at least a week — including Memorial Day — due to the nine new coronavirus cases that came to light this week.
The Snyder Landfill will be closed Saturday and open from 8 a.m. to noon on Monday.
The Snyder Municipal Court will be closed Monday for Memorial Day, but is open otherwise during normal hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Court business will be conducted in the courtroom rather than in the lobby to allow for social distancing.
Local United States Post Offices will be closed Monday for Memorial Day, and no mail will be delivered.
All local banks, including West Texas State Bank, Community Bank of Snyder, AimBank, First Bank and Trust and Prosperity Bank, as well as the Scurry County School Federal Credit Union, will be closed Monday for Memorial Day.
In addition, the drive-thru at West Texas State Bank will be closed Saturday.
