Local banks report drop in deposits, outstanding loans

Although one bank reported an increase in outstanding loans and another in deposits compared to December, all the banks that report deposits and loans showed a decrease in both categories compared to March 2015.
Combined, the banks who made information available reported holding $340.6 million in deposits as of March 31, 2016, and $155.1 million in outstanding loans.
The banks reported a combined $349.6 million in deposits at the end of December and $381.2 million in deposits in March 2015.
AimBank reported a quarterly increase in deposits of $2 million. The bank reported $49.3 million in March compared to $47.3 million in December and $56.1 million last March.
West Texas State Bank reported $120.2 million on deposit compared to December’s total of $124.2 million. Last March the bank reported having $127.7 million on deposit.
Community Bank of Snyder reported having $105.4 million on deposit, compared to $110.6 million on deposit in December. Last March, the bank reported having $126.2 million on deposit.
First Bank and Trust reported deposits of $65.7 million in March compared to $67.5 million in December. In March 2015, the bank reported deposits of $71.2 million.
The banks reported outstanding loans of $155.1 million at the end of March. That compares to $159.8 in outstanding loans in December and $172.8 million last March.
Community Bank of Snyder reported outstanding loans of $54 million, compared to December’s $58.3 million. Last March, the bank reported $55.9 million in outstanding loans.
West Texas State Bank reported $74 million in outstanding loans. In December, the bank reported $75.3 million in outstanding loans. Last March the bank reported $78.9 million in loans.
First Bank and Trust reported $27.1 million in outstanding loans compared to $38 million last March. In December, the bank reported $26.2 million in outstanding loans.
