Two organizations will serve traditional Thanksgiving meals to the Snyder community today.
The Rotary Club of Snyder will serve a Thanksgiving meal in the Westerner Room at The Coliseum from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Love Your Community group will serve a meal to the public from 6-8 p.m. in the fellowship hall at Word is Life Deliverance Church.
“We could not do this on our own,” said Rotary secretary Geron Scates. “The community provides us exceptional support and volunteerism in helping us to serve and deliver the meals.”
Davina Douglas of Love Your Community said the organization is more than just a church group.
“The public is invited to attend the meal and learn about our organization and upcoming events,” Douglas said.
Both meals are free but donations will be accepted at both.
