A local man was reportedly electrocuted Monday morning while working on a wind turbine in Scurry County.
According to Sheriff Trey Wilson, Tristan Adams of Snyder was flown to a Lubbock hospital after suffering injuries from an electrical wire while working on a local wind turbine.
“A gentleman grabbed a hot wire, and it burned his hand,” Wilson said. “They airlifted him, but from what I know and understand right now, it wasn’t anything life-threatening. He had burns on his hand and possibly his arm. I know my deputy told me that he just burned his hand. He never lost consciousness or anything like that. I don’t want to downplay it and say it was nothing serious, because I’m sure it was. But it doesn’t sound like it was anything life-threatening.”
