Police blotter published in the March 21, 2016 edition:

• Arrests
A 38-year-old male was arrested on U.S. Hwy. 84, at mile marker 418, at 12:47 p.m. Saturday on a Fort Bend County warrant for failing to identify as a fugitive from justice.
At 3:17 p.m. Saturday, a 21-year-old male was arrested in the 2700 block of Ave. X on a warrant for reckless driving.
A 21-year-old male was arrested at 5:40 p.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of 25th Street on Scurry County warrants for motion to proceed with adjudication of guilt on an original charge of assault, family violence, failure to identify, surety withdrawal, and resisting arrest/search/transport, surety withdrawal, and on a Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace warrant for bail jumping/failure to appear.
At 9:13 p.m. Saturday, a 23-year-old female was arrested in the 3500 block of College Ave. on a Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace warrant for parent contributing to non-attendance.
A 28-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Wagon Wheel Ranch.
A 37-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication at 3:39 a.m. Sunday in the 1300 block of Coliseum Drive.
At 5 p.m. Sunday, a 33-year-old male was arrested in the 200 block of 36th Street for assault causing bodily injury.
At 2:15 a.m. today, a 39-year-old female was arrested in the 2700 block of Ave. K for driving while license invalid.
• Theft
Law enforcement was requested at the Wagon Wheel Ranch at 10:23 a.m. Sunday in reference to a theft which occurred on Saturday.
• Burglaries
A storage building was broken into at Lone Star Storage in the 3400 block of U.S. Hwy. 84, according to a call at 11:37 a.m. Saturday.
A person requested to speak with an officer at 2:25 a.m. Sunday in reference to a break-in at a residence in the 2100 block of 26th Street.
An officer was requested at the intersection of Ave. B and 26th Street at 2:03 p.m. Sunday in reference to a mobile home being broken into.
• Accident
A minor two-vehicle accident was reported at 8:38 p.m. Sunday in the 3500 block of College Ave.
• Fires
Controlled burns were called in at 1:53 p.m. Saturday from FM 644 between U.S. Hwy. 180 and Hermleigh at 4:25 p.m. Saturday from the intersection of FM 1673 and Ennis Creek Road, at 8:25 a.m. Sunday from the 3400 block of U.S. Hwy. 84, at 9:25 a.m. Sunday from U.S. Hwy. 180 one mile past Rip Griffin Travel Center at 12:40 p.m. Sunday from the 500 block of Dunn Ave., at 12:42 p.m. Sunday from the 2600 block of U.S. Business Hwy. 84, at 12:45 p.m. Sunday from the 9700 block of CR 3105, at 1:04 p.m. Sunday from CR 4131 east of Hermleigh at 1:25 p.m. Sunday from the 4000 block of FM 1606 and at 2:34 p.m. Sunday from the 3900 block of Shady Oaks Lane.
At 1:24 p.m. Sunday, a Dumpster was on fire at the intersection of 33rd Street and Ave. B. The Snyder Fire Department was dispatched and put out the fire.
• Water leak
A water leak was reported in the backyard of a residence in the 3700 block of Dalton Drive at 1:47 p.m. Sunday. The Snyder Water Department was notified.
• Animal concern
Help was requested at Stripes convenience store on Coliseum Drive at 3:10 p.m. Sunday in reference to difficulties loading a horse into a trailer.
• Loud music
Loud music was reported at 8:01 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Ave. Q.
• Weekend blotter notes
Scurry County EMS responded to five medical calls.
Ten non-accident, traffic-related calls were received.
Two alarms were reported.
Six close patrols were requested.
One welfare check was requested.
Law enforcement responded to four civil issues.
