• Arrests
Charles Joseph Granger Jr., 43, was arrested at 12:32 p.m. Monday at Ector County Jail on a 132nd District Court warrant for motion to revoke probation on an original charge of driving while intoxicated, third or more conviction.
At 12:36 a.m. today, two men were arrested in the 1700 block of 25th Street. John Tyler Runnels, 31, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams. Brian Lee Dickson, 39, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, less than one gram, and possession of a controlled substance, more than one gram, but less than four grams.
A 26-year-old female was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of 30th Street on municipal warrants for no driver’s license and for violating a promise to appear.
• Thefts
Two trailers and a riding lawn mower were stolen at a residence in the 3600 block of Ave. U, according to a call at 11 a.m. Monday.
A person who lives in the 2800 block of Ave. F went to the Snyder Police Department at 3:01 p.m. Monday to speak with an officer in reference to possible identity theft.
• Burglaries
A break-in was reported at a building in the 1800 block of 27th Street at 8:06 a.m. Monday.
Several firearms were reported stolen following a break-in at a residence in the 1900 block of Chambers Street at 10:54 a.m. Monday.
• Accident
A two-vehicle accident was reported in front of Higginbotham Brothers hardware store at 5:12 p.m. Monday.
• Fire
The Snyder Fire Department was dispatched to the 5100 block of Meador Road at 11:50 p.m. Monday in reference to a burning barn. The fire department responded and put out the fire.
• Water leak
A water leak was reported from the roof of a building in the 2600 block of Ave. M at 7:16 p.m. Monday.
• Animal concerns
Two dogs were at-large at the intersection of Ave. U and 37th Street at 9:25 a.m. Monday.
A person called law enforcement at 3:16 p.m. Monday to report an aggressive dog which had been in the 800 block of Ave. O the past several days.
• Monday blotter notes
Scurry County EMS responded to two medical calls.
Two non-accident, traffic-related calls were received.
Three alarms were reported.
One close patrol was requested.
One welfare check was requested.
Law enforcement responded to one civil issue.
