• Arrests
A 22-year-old male was arrested at 4:19 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Hwy. 84, east of CR 465, for driving while license suspended.
A 40-year-old female was arrested at 2:18 a.m. today in the 3900 block of College Ave. for public intoxication.
• Assaults
A family disturbance was reported at 7:14 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Browning Ave.
An assault in progress was reported at 3:31 p.m. Tuesday at Walmart Supercenter.
• Burglary
Burglary of a habitation was reported at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Second Street.
• Theft
Attempted theft from a vehicle was reported at 2:55 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Browning Ave.
• Harassment
A restraining order was requested at 3:11 p.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of 34th Street.
• Accident
A two-vehicle accident was reported at 6:04 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 180 and U.S. Hwy. 84. One person was transported to Cogdell Memorial Hospital.
• Fires
An oil tank fire was reported at 3:09 a.m. today on Koonce Road.
A tank battery fire was reported at 5:56 p.m. Tuesday. The fire department was unable to locate the fire.
A grass fire was reported at 5:39 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 84 and FM 1611. The fire department reported there was no fire.
A grass fire was reported at 5:48 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of FM 1607 and FM 1609. The fire department reported there was no fire.
• Noise complaint
Loud music was reported at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 4000 block of Eastridge Ave.
• Animal concerns
A dog bite was reported at 1:02 p.m. Tuesday at Ira ISD.
An animal carcass was reported at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday in the 3200 block of Ave. A.
