• Arrests
A 46-year-old female was arrested in the 2600 block of Ave. J at 12:16 p.m. Saturday on a municipal court warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia.
At 5:25 p.m. Saturday, a 30-year-old male was arrested in the 100 block of Coliseum Drive for driving while license invalid.
At 6 p.m. Saturday, a 23-year-old female was arrested in the 500 block of 27th Street on a Scurry County warrant for assault, family violence, judgment NISI.
A 25-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3700 block of Dalton Drive at 9:13 p.m. Sunday.
• Assaults
An assault was reported at 4:13 a.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of Ave. K.
An assault was reported at 1:53 p.m. Sunday near Cedar Row Apartments.
• Burglary
A deputy was requested in the 5000 block of CR 473 at 9:30 p.m. Sunday in reference to a break-in.
• Criminal mischief
At 9:32 p.m. Saturday, a person reported people  throwing eggs at people fishing at the Towle Park pond.
At 9:56 p.m. Saturday, a person requested a close patrol of the 2400 block of 42nd Street in reference to his truck being egged every Saturday night.
• Fires
Controlled burns were called in at 8:41 a.m. Saturday from FM 1611, at 10:25 a.m. Saturday from Lake J.B. Thomas, at 10:47 a.m. Saturday from the 1400 block of CR 2214, at 11:09 a.m. Saturday from the 1100 block of CR 146, at 11:23 a.m. Saturday from the 2600 block of Business U.S. Hwy. 84, at 11:34 a.m. Saturday from the 10000 block of CR 397, at 12:40 p.m. Saturday from the 3700 block of Gary Brewer Road, at 1:53 p.m. Saturday from Lake J.B. Thomas, at 2:31 p.m. Saturday from the 400 block of FM 1673, at 3:57 p.m. Saturday from U.S. Hwy. 180 and at 7:13 p.m. Saturday from the 300 block of CR 112.
At 10:58 p.m. Saturday, a smoke alarm went off at Ms. Kathy’s Southern Comfort Food, and smoke was seen coming from the area. The Snyder Fire Department responded and said the smoke was from an item left on a stove and that the fire was under control.
• Gas leak
A gas leak was reported at 6:50 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of 24th Street. The Snyder Fire Department and Atmos Energy responded. The fire department advised the scene was under control and turned it over to Atmos.
• Power outage
A power outage was reported in the 1900 block of 18th Street at 7:14 p.m. Saturday. The homeowner was advised to contact their electrical provider.
• Animal concerns
A dog was at-large on 20th Street, between Ave. K and Ave. L, at 7:14 a.m. Saturday.
A dog was at-large in the 1900 block of 29th Street at 8:41 a.m. Saturday.
A dog was at-large in the 2800 block of Ave. Y at 1:55 p.m. Saturday.
A cow was loose at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 84 and CR 253 at 5:10 p.m. Saturday.
A dog was at-large in the 1900 block of 29th Street at 9:18 a.m. Sunday.
At 1:23 p.m. Sunday, a dog was loose at Deep Creek Apartments. The caller reported the dog was not aggressive and had a red collar with no tags.
At 2:58 p.m. Sunday, a bull was loose at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 84 and CR 4104.
A dog with a red collar was seen at West Texas State Bank at 4:37 p.m. Sunday.
A horse was loose at the intersection of FM 1606 and Hwy. 208 at 4:47 p.m. Sunday.
An officer was requested at Cogdell Memorial Hospital at 9:58 p.m. Sunday in reference to a dog bite.
• Loud music
Loud music was reported at 8:32 p.m. Saturday in the 1100 block of Ave. P, at 11:57 p.m. Sunday at Kingswood Apartments and at 2:31 a.m. Sunday in the 3700 block of Highland Drive.
• Weekend blotter notes
Scurry County EMS responded to two medical calls.
Two non-accident, traffic-related calls were received.
Eleven alarms were reported.
Three close patrols were requested.
Nine 911 hang-up calls were received.
Law enforcement responded to two civil issues.
