Museum to open Arthouse Friday

The Scurry County Museum will unveil the 1818 Arthouse at 5 p.m. Friday.
Located on the south side of the downtown square, the Arthouse is an extension of the museum, according to museum director Daniel Schlegel Jr.
“We will have plenty of artwork for everyone to admire, complimentary refreshments and Lori Sealy will be performing live,” he said. 
Rotating artwork will be on display and a film series will be held in the renovated building later this year, Schlegel said.
