Spots are still available for this weekend’s paleontological dig site tour.
The Scurry County Museum and Texas Tech Lubbock Lake Landmark are working together to offer guided tours to Roland Springs Ranch in Scurry County. Tours will be held each Saturday through July 2
Executive Director Daniel Schlegel Jr. said there is limited space for each tour.
“Tours are filling up fast,” Schlegel said. “These are free tours that are fun for the whole family and an incredible step into the past.”
The museum also is offering camps throughout the summer. The first sessions will be June 20-24 focusing on dinosaurs and math. Other camps will focus on pioneer days, art, pets, mad science and the Olympics.
