Today’s edition of the Snyder Daily News is the final edition before the newspaper adopts a new name and changes to a bi-weekly Wednesday and Saturday publication cycle.
The first edition of The Snyder News will be published Wednesday.
“Over the past week we’ve heard from readers and others about the change and almost every comment and question has been positive,” publisher Bill Crist said. “Since we had to move printing the newspaper off-site, we’ve made this transition pretty quickly, so there are likely to be more tweaks to the newspaper along the way. But we are confident the focus on covering local news and devoting more of our time and energy to reporting about our community — rather than trying to figure out how to fill our pages with national and international news — will be a welcome change.”
