• Arrests
Robin Lenore Belcher, 38, was arrested at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3800 block of Ave. V on a Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace felony warrant for forgery.
At 8:25 a.m. Saturday, two men were arrested on U.S. Hwy. 84, four miles east of Snyder. A 39-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated and a 44-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication.
A 41-year-old female was arrested at 7:33 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of 37th Street on a warrant for driving while license invalid.
A 41-year-old male was arrested at 11:15 p.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of Ave. R for no Texas driver’s license and expired motor vehicle registration.
At 10:46 a.m. Sunday, law enforcement received a call regarding a possible assault in the 300 block of 34th Street. A 23-year-old female was arrested at the scene for public intoxication.
A 45-year-old female was arrested at 3:40 a.m. today in the 4500 block of College Ave. for driving while license invalid. A 50-year-old male was also arrested at the scene for possession of marijuana and on Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace warrants for driving while license invalid and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
• Assault
An assault was reported at 12:43 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of 13th Street.
• Theft
At 7:20 p.m. Sunday, dispatchers received a call regarding parts being stolen off a pickup truck in the 3000 block of Ave. H. The caller advised the stolen parts appeared to be posted online.
• Burglaries
A burglary was reported at 10:19 a.m. Sunday in the 2500 block of Ave. K.
At 5:45 p.m. Sunday, a burglary was reported in the 300 block of 31st Street.
At 11:12 p.m. Sunday, a burglary was reported in the 3200 block of Hill Ave.
• Criminal mischief
Criminal mischief was reported at 9:34 a.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Ave. H.
Damage to a vehicle in the 4500 block of College Ave was reported at 2:14 p.m. Sunday.
• Accidents
A vehicle hit a deer on Hwy. 208, north of Dunn, at 5:45 a.m. Saturday.
A person went to the law enforcement center at 3:37 p.m. Saturday to report an accident on the Walmart Supercenter parking lot on Friday.
At 6:05 p.m. Saturday, an accident was reported at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 180 and FM 1610.
At 2:11 p.m. Sunday, a person reported a hit-and-run accident in the 2800 block of Ave. W. The caller advised that the accident happened Saturday night.
A vehicle hit cattle on CR 4156 at 1:41 a.m. today. Two men were transported to Cogdell Memorial Hospital for treatment.
• Fires
A controlled burn was called in at 12:40 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Andress Ave. and Ave. Q.
At 1:40 p.m. Saturday, the Snyder Fire Department received a call about a possible explosion in the 3300 block of Irving Ave. Firefighters responded to the scene and advised there was no explosion. The fire was put out prior to the fire department’s arrival.
A fire was reported in the backyard of a residence in the 2100 block of Peyton Ave. at 3:54 p.m. Saturday. The Snyder Fire Department advised the residents of the city ordinance for burning debris. The fire was extinguished.
• Scams
Residents reported received scam phone calls at 10:49 a.m. Saturday and 12:17 p.m. Saturday.
• Animal concerns
Two dogs were at-large at the intersection of Coliseum Drive and Ave. E at 3:55 p.m. Saturday.
At 12:17 p.m. Sunday, a bull was loose on CR 370.
An aggressive dog was at-large in the 3400 block of Jacksboro Ave. at 4:11 p.m. Sunday.
Two English bulldogs were found near the Towle Park pond at 8:31 p.m. Sunday.
• Weekend blotter notes
Scurry County EMS responded to six medical calls.
Two non-accident, traffic-related calls were received.
Six alarms were reported.
Three close patrols were requested.
Law enforcement responded to three civil issues.
