Here is the police blotter published on Nov. 18, 2016:

• Arrests
Lionel Maurice Day, 43, was arrested at 7:11 a.m. Thursday in the 2800 block of Ave. Q for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, interference with a 911 call and public intoxication.
Timothy Lynn Pierce, 38, was arrested at the Mitchell County Jail at 8:52 a.m. Thursday on a 132nd District Court warrant for failure to appear at a hearing regarding a motion for enforcement.
At 12:39 a.m. today, a 45-year-old male was arrested at the intersection of U.S. Hwy. 180 and U.S. Hwy. 84 on two local warrants for public intoxication.
• Possible gunshots
At 3:21 p.m. Thursday, a person reported hearing what sounded like seven gunshots at the intersection of Midland Ave. and 40th Street near Snyder Junior High School. Snyder police investigated but were unable to locate any evidence of gunshots.
• Theft
At 4:33 p.m. Thursday, a check to Dupree Automotive was written from a closed account.
• Burglary
A gun and knives were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2700 block of 34th Street at 7:18 a.m. Thursday.
• Fire
At 3:45 a.m. today, a fire was reported in the attic of a residence in the 11000 block of Farmers Lane in Ira. The Snyder Fire Department was dispatched and the fire was under control by 5 a.m.
• Animal concerns
Two cows were loose at the intersection of CR 137 and CR 126 at 6:11 a.m. Thursday.
At 6:43 a.m. Thursday, two horses were loose in the 4100 block of Ave. R.
Two dogs were at-large at the intersection of Ave. V and 31st Street at 9:08 a.m. Thursday.
A dog was at-large at the intersection of Ave. E and 30th Street at 2:04 p.m. Thursday.
At 2:19 a.m. today, two cows were loose on CR 466.
• Loud music
Loud music was reported at 10:41 a.m. Thursday from the 2900 block of Ave. X.
• Thursday blotter notes
Scurry County EMS responded to three medical calls.
One non-accident, traffic-related call was received.
Two close patrols were requested.
Two welfare checks were requested.
Seven 911 hang-up calls were received.
Law enforcement responded to two civil issues.
