Police blotter published on Nov. 3:

• Assault
A female went to the law enforcement center at 7:59 a.m. Wednesday to report an assault.
• Thefts
Money was stolen from a purse at the California Apartments, according to a call at 7:14 a.m. Wednesday.
A possible shoplifter was reported at Walmart Supercenter at 1:35 a.m. today.
• Burglary
A person, at 3:44 p.m. Wednesday, reported his residence was robbed earlier in the day.
• Fight
A person reported seeing two juveniles fighting in the 3600 block of Houston Ave. at 4:18 p.m. Wednesday. The juveniles left the scene before police arrived.
• Criminal mischief
The front door of a residence in the 1200 block of 29th Street was reported to be open at 7:18 p.m. Wednesday. An offense report for criminal mischief was filed.
Juveniles were damaging a building in the 3100 block of Ave. C at 5:18 p.m. Wednesday. The juveniles were located and released to the custody of a guardian.
• Accident
A two-vehicle accident in the 1200 block of 13th Street was reported at 7:21 p.m. Wednesday.
• Fire
The Snyder Fire Department put out a mattress fire in the 200 block of 33rd Street at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday.
• Animal concerns
A mule was loose on Gary Brewer Road at 6:57 a.m. Thursday.
At 7:41 a.m. Wednesday, a deer was reported in the roadway on 40th Street.
A person was bit by a dog in the 2800 block of Ave. L at 1:33 p.m. Wednesday. The person met a police officer at Cogdell Memorial Hospital to file a complaint.
A person called law enforcement at 3:38 p.m. Wednesday to report possible animal abuse in the 100 block of Browning Street.
A cow was loose two miles west of Lake J.B. Thomas in Borden County, according to a call at 6:12 p.m. Wednesday.
