• Arrests
Two people were arrested in the 3900 block of Noble Drive at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday. A 31-year-old female was arrested on Nolan County warrants for criminal trespass, theft of property worth more than $50, but less than $500, theft of property worth more than $500, but less than $1,500, failure to vaccinate and parent contributing to non-attendance, as well as for failure to identify as a fugitive from justice and theft of property worth more than $500, but less than $1,500. A 37-year-old female was arrested for theft.
Two people were arrested in the 1700 block of 27th Street at 12:12 a.m. today. A 35-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication. A 28-year-old male was arrested on warrants for public intoxication, open container by a passenger, disorderly conduct (obscene language) and for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana and driving while intoxicated.
• Assault
An assault was reported in Clinton Hall at Western Texas College at 1:53 a.m. today. Scurry County EMS responded, but the victim was alert and refused treatment.
• Theft
A Leeboy curb machine was reported stolen from the 3000 block of Brick Plant Road at 3:25 p.m. Tuesday. The equipment was reportedly last seen in October 2015.
• Accidents
A hit-and-run was reported on the Walmart Supercenter parking lot at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday.
At 12:03 p.m. Tuesday, a two-vehicle accident was reported in the 3800 block of College Ave.
An accident was reported in front of Snyder High School at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday.
• Fire
A controlled burn was called in at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday from the 900 block of Ave. Q.
• Gas leak
A possible gas leak was reported in a residence in the 300 block of 32nd Street at 12:51 p.m. Tuesday. The Snyder Fire Department responded to the call and assisted.
• Water leak
A water leak was reported at the intersection of Ave. I and 26th Street at 8:02 p.m. Tuesday. The Snyder Water Department was notified.
• Animal concerns
An aggressive dog was at-large in front of Wilson Motors at 7:26 a.m. Tuesday.
Five cows were loose at the intersection of CR 1101 and U.S. Hwy. 180 at 9:59 a.m. Tuesday.
Loose cattle were seen in the 1100 block of Farm Valley Road at 2:41 p.m. Tuesday.
At 2:31 a.m. today, a dog was at-large in the 200 block of Birch Street.
• Loud music
Loud music was reported at 9:32 p.m. Tuesday in the 3800 block of Noble Drive.
• Tuesday blotter notes

One non-accident, traffic-related call was received.
Three alarms were reported.
One close patrol was requested.
Four welfare checks were requested.
One 911 hang-up call was received.
One report of fireworks being discharged was received.
