An Odessa woman is headed to prison after her probation was revoked in District Judge Ernie B. Armstrong’s courtroom this week.
Sherrie Darlene Bidwell, 33, of Odessa, will serve her two 2010 sentences for burglary of a building after violating her probation, which was revoked.
Bidwell tested positive for methamphetamine and marijuana and failed to charge her electronic monitoring device on Aug. 16, 2012, failed to let her probation officer know she moved, failed to report to her treatment facility in March 2013 and missed multiple appointments with her probation officer, as well as failing to pay her probation, restitution, court and attorney fees numerous times between April 2012 and August 2015.
Her original sentence called for Bidwell to serve a 10-year probated sentence concurrently with a two-year sentence, probated five years. She was also ordered to pay a pair of $1,500 fines, $7,340 in restitution, court and attorney fees and to participate in the TAIP program.
The sentences will be served concurrently.
